Redirectionalism VS Preterism

Below are links to my book on eschatology, this is not a Full Preterist or Hyper Preterist book.  Within my book I am dealing with the problems faced by Partial Pretetists.  I am answering these problems primarily through a different eschatology that deals with the Scriptures as a way to come to Christ rather than a list of things that need to be ticked of through history.  For example, Kenneth Gentry has said that this word for “times or the seasons” in Acts 1:7 [Acts 1:7 “And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.] translated “epochs” in the NASB can refer to thousands of years.  A Greek scholar I greatly respect shows that the word at best means only “proper time” or “proper season” (one could extend “proper” to be “appropriate”, but not much more).  Basically, “epoch(s)” is simply a bad and misleading translation.  There is not much here to build a doctrine on as he told me.

Rather here in my book, I am trying to emphasis that these things concerning Jerusalem in Matthew 24 and elsewhere have equal and timeless meaning to us today as a for of idealism, rather then to some point either in the past or in the future.
